My Mum is running a travel club at her primary school next year, and she's looking for short (approximately 15-minute) videos of each country she's going to do, which are: France, Germany, USA, Italy, China, Spain, and India. I was wondering if anyone at all knows of videos for any of these countries either on YouTube or one that she could buy, e. G. Off amazon or eBay. The pupils viewing them would be 10-11 years old, so obviously not really complicated or with swearing in any way. Thank you. Do you know what I found? Hi, Your mum can just log in to YouTube, make a search on the countries she wants and specific topics and she can upload it to her blog, email or even website. Of course she has to be a member of You Tube first. Alternatively, some countries do have their own tourism sites. Just google it. E. G. Malaysia (although not on her list) she can still take a look at the source below.

I ordered a package from Deal Extreme (an electronics discounter), and it says it left Hong Kong on 9/4/09, but has no details on how long it will take to get to Pittsburgh. It's registered mail that will travel via the USPS when it gets here to the states, apparently. Well, I have your answer. No way to tell. I ordered a cell phone cover from china and it got to utah in 4 days. I couldn't believe it. but another package took about 3 weeks. I would think that would be more like the norm. it's only been a week, so give another week at least, then maybe email them and ask if they have a tracking number of some kind. just to let them know you haven't forgotten about them. hope you paid with a credit card so maybe you can get your money back if things go wrong. good luck.

Better to apply it in London? I'm a british national and looking to go to shanghai, and looking for the easiest way to get a visa. Going to Hong Kong I think I will have to wait 36 hours sitting in a hotel room just for the visa but i've heard that it is easier there, I wonder why is easier there than overhere. After looking around, I learned — While I was in China earlier this year I read in an English language paper that getting a visa (certainly a multi-entry one) for China (in Hong Kong) was getting harder – this was attributed to a tightening of security for the Olympic Games, but I wouldn't expect things to change once the Games are over. With this in mind I would recommend getting a visa before you leave Britain, because getting to Hong Kong and then finding you have a problem sounds daft. If you look at the Chinese Embassy web site you'll see that they've recently changed the process for applying for a visa, so take what anyone tells you with a pinch of salt unless they've applied for a visa recently. In the past you had to arrive early and do a lot of queuing outside the embassy but if you got there early enough you could get a visa the same day now to do this it looks as if you have to make an appointment on-line for the Chinese Visa Service Application Centre (CVASC), but I imagine getting there a bit early is still a good idea, and they still provide a one day service if you apply before 11:00 but the documentation you require has become more complicated than it used to be so read the application process carefully; alternatively the CVASC website says that you can apply by post although I am not sure I would want to post my application if I lived in or near London because of what you have to send, again the documentation required has become more complex. You might think that the process for getting a Chinese visa is a bit of a pain but it probably isn't as bad as the process that we demand of Chinese nationals whoever want to get a UK visa whoever have to apply in person to provide biometric data.
