How do travel agents know that they are doing a good job. So far I have come up with repeat bookings. Anything else. From what I can tell… 1) customer satisfaction. 2) New customer referred by old customers. 3) travel company is making good money. 4) Air line companies are happy with the busines they get from this travel company. 5) hotels are happy for the same reason.

I am based in the UK and want to go on a holiday at some point this year with my partner. We have around £500 to spend each. Specifically we wish to travel on our holiday – we want to explore a country or an area. We have been travelling around most of Europe so are looking for slightly further afield or something amazing in Europe we have not yet seen. we ideally want sun and the chance to sit on a beach. Our main ideas were Thailand, Laos and Cambodia – but the flights were well over out budget. We also thought of Croatia but it seems to cost a fortune to get there. Any help would be greatly appritiated. thanks. I was happy to learn… Also, Slovenia is worth for checking out, there are both cooler climate & mountainous areas in the north (Bled & Triglav for example) as well as sunshine and beaches in the south (in Portoroz by the Adriatic coastline).

Is it true on late Wednesday night, is the best way to get cheap airline tickets I just read it. In another question but just wonderin if its true? Or the best day is there is a specific time like an hour or day that could be best to find cheap airlines tickets. I was so glad to find this — This question has been posted more times than I can count. No, airlines don't reduce fares if you buy them on certain days or at certain times. I worked in the travel industry for 20 years and never saw it happen. If airlines always sold tickets for less on a certain day, they would sell no tickets at all six days a week. Everyone would just wait for "discount day". Fare may be cheaper if you travel on certain days, depending on the destination. They're not automatically cheaper if you buy them on a specific day of the week.
